Soy melts are a type of wax melt that are made from soy wax, which is a natural and renewable alternative to traditional paraffin wax. Soy wax is derived from soybeans and is biodegradable.
One of the main benefits of soy melts is that they burn cleanly and evenly, releasing the fragrance of the fragrance oils that are added to them. Unlike traditional candles, melts do not produce a flame as they are not “lit”. A great alternative if you want fragrance, without the flame.
Another benefit of our premium soy melts is their long-lasting fragrance. Our unique blend of wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, which means that it releases fragrance at a lower temperature. This custom blend is also able to hold a much higher amount of fragrance than traditional waxes. We typically use 12%, but this wax can hold more. We have found that more isn’t always better and the 12% produces an amazing fragrance throw. This means that soy melts can provide a more subtle, yet longer-lasting fragrance than traditional candles. They are also very cost-effective, as they last longer than traditional candles.
Soy melts are also highly customizable. Throughout the year, we offer special soy melts in shapes that are unique to the season/holiday. They can be used in electric or tea-light warmers and also in potpourri burners. We offer a selection of wax warmers that we feel give the best fragrance. Generally, light bulb wax warmers are great for smaller space and electric plate/dish warmers are best for medium and larger spaces.
Simply pop one or two melts into your warmer and enjoy the fragrance as it fills your room. Plus, when the fragrance has faded, you can simply remove the melt and replace it with a new one. Some of our warmers make this extremely easy with a silicone dish. Simply let the wax harden and pop it out.
